My circle of friends have a standing agreement that we don’t post pictures on Social Media outlets unless the person(s) in the pictures approve. And if it is just me in the photo, I request I post it to my account thus giving me the illusion of complete control.
Here is something I can’t stress enough. Everyone should talk to their friends and agree on a protocol for posting pics or personal info. If you do not trust them to adhere to the agreement, they shouldn’t be your friend.

John, Excellent point indeed! Face to face relationships with customers, employees, strategic partners etc will always play a vital role. Social media can and does help with “connecting” and to some extend “engaging” with folks. It’s still just a tool in the arsenal, not the end game. BTW, I love the “bit o drama” in the video.
